EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate LLM Researcher
Working under Dr. Ian Fillmore, I’m contributing to the development of a fine-tuned large language model (LLM) designed to answer questions about the U.S. foster care system. This involves collecting and organizing foster care laws from all 50 states into a structured database. I'm also developing and optimizing training methodologies to improve the LLM’s accuracy and efficiency in interpreting complex legal and regulatory texts.
Goldman Sachs Possibilities Summit Fellow
Completed a year-long mentorship with Goldman Sachs engineers, focusing on software engineering and cybersecurity through hands-on learning and professional development.
PROJECTS
bettertyping
Collaborated with a partner to develop and deploy a full-stack web application featuring a React frontend and a MongoDB backend, allowing users to test and track their typing speeds. Implemented a robust database system for storing test results, including a dynamic leaderboard and detailed typing history to support personalized progress tracking.
Lingua
Developed a Swift/SwiftUI macOS spaced repetition flashcard app to enhance learning efficiency through scheduling algorithms and customizable flashcard decks. Designed an intuitive user interface using SwiftUI animations and gestures, with additional features including progress tracking and iCloud integration for seamless device syncing.
